ARTinCC First Workday Progress

On Oct 21, 2021 Board members and committee members of Allegheny River Trail in Clarion County and a group of volunteers put in the first work day on the Foxburg to Emlenton link of the Erie to Pittsburgh Trail. We started right at the bridge at the area to become the trailhead and Municipal park. The short video linked here illustrates our progress: https://youtu.be/MwmoqieCmNE

Many thanks to locals Vernon Kern, Doug Bell, Dennis Keyes, Joyce Kern, Norma Baum, Ed SCurry and to the volunteers who made the drive up from Pittsburgh. Thanks to Fred Zelt and Denny Conway.

Next up we will attack the Parking Area. With enough volunteers and cooperative weather, we hope to have the entire trail cleared up to Shoup’s trailer parking area before the snow flies.

Come join us if you can, Watch for announcements on our facebook PAGE: https://www.facebook.com/AlleghenyRiverTrailinClarionCounty
