May 9 at Foxburg Bridge – Pulling stumps along the wall

Another short notice workday was very productive. Foxburg’s Rod Copper brought his John Deere excavator to work. He obviously has a great deal of experience with this machine and he made short work of pulling out even the largest stumps along the wall by the warehouse next to the Foxburg bridge. Our next workday is Wed, May 11 starting as early as 7:30 am, when we will begin laying the silt sock erosion control along the west side of the trail prior to contouring the ground for the trail. We hope to have a good turnout of volunteers helping to move the extracted roots, laying the sock and staking it down. We hope to see you there whenever you can make it on Wed.

Our Facebook GROUP has connections to other trail groups, trail users and friends. It is a friendly place to meet, to share experiences and photos along the trails.
Our Facebook PAGE is designed specifically to inform followers about our current projects, progress and immediate needs and to provide information and links to our website for volunteers, membership, sponsorship and donations. We encourage you to take a few minutes to check us out. If you like what you see, get involved. Volunteer. Donate. Become a member. Become a Sponsor. Welcome everyone! Let’s do this!
