ARTinCC has a public presence in Foxburg

We are visible at the trailhead! On Sep 29, 4 volunteers placed signs at the trailhead beside the Rt 58 bridge in Foxburg. Dennis Keyes designed and printed the sign. Doug Bell, John Soroka and Vern Kern helped assemble the trailhead sign and erect it. We tried driving metal T-Posts in to hold the sign but the ground was so full of tightly packed RR ballast that we had to call in reinforcements. Tyler, from Darrell Blauser Construction came to the rescue with an excavator. The 4’x6’ sign really stands out. You can even read it from the road. We also placed 6 small “Warning” signs near the boat launch ramp and trail access points advising caution, limited parking area and “No Littering”. We control only the first mile of the 3 miles of bike trail. There are hazards and you ride at your own risk. We will have a presence at the trailhead near our new sign at the Foxburg Festival on Oct 9. Stop by and see us. Learn more, volunteer, donate!
