On Nov 15 volunteers supervised tailgating ASHTO-10 limestone on the first 680′ of trail heading south from Emlenton to Foxburg. They contoured the limestone and did initial compacting with pickups.

WELL ALRIGHT! The north end of the Allegheny River Trail in Clarion County is now paved! Hallelujah! Let’s get a celebration together! Tim Kasmoch, Heath Neely, Jackson Shoup, and Ed Scurry put in about 25 man hours today and got the limestone down and graded. Dennis Keyes made and installed signs on both ends asking folks to stay off the limestone until spring when we will compact it. Other volunteers who helped prepare this section of the trail were: Gary Rhoades, Kurt Crosbie, Vern Kern, Mel Risinger, Charlie Platt, Eric Feicht, Lisa Myers, Vickie Persic, Norma Baum, Doug Bell, Josh Wallin, and Mickey Bell. My apologies to anyone I missed and I need to log your hours. So please let me know. Here are a few photos of the finished job. Go check it out. Help us with the next phase.
