A generous “Friend of the Trail” provided 2 men to run his chipper all day today.

Adam Terwilliger loaned his employees, Brandon Johns and Shane Carr to help us clean up some of the brush we have been cutting since October. Vernon Kern and Denny Keyes cleared additional brush and small trees from the trailhead and down the ramp to the river. We are now ready to lay a silt sock for Erosion control along the western edge of the trail. Then we can grub out roots and shape the trailhead. Progress is being made! The trail concept has been years in the making. Thanks to a DCNR grant and a very generous donation from a “Friend of the Trail”, ARTinCC owns almost 2 acres at the bridge which will become a focal point for the community. ARTinCC has immediate needs which we hope to fill with volunteer help. We are gearing up to submit a major grant application in April. We need help from someone who is familiar with grant applications. And, of course, we need DONORS.

Please consider volunteering work or materials. All donations and members are welcome.
