Dec 2, 2021 – Workday 3 – Progress Report

14 volunteers came to Foxburg on Dec 2 to help clear more brush and trees from the trailhead and parking area. Our erosion and sedimentation plan has been approved and we now need to place silt sock along the river side of the trail in preparation for machinery to come in and finish removing stumps and roots. Thank you to all VOLUNTEERS for all the hard work. I would like to acknowledge those who helped on this workday:

Charley Platt, Dave Galbreath, Jerry Lutz, Russell Neff, Jackson Shoup, Bryan Koehler, Steve Prokay, Penny Pence, Doug Bell, Bob Jennings, Norma Baum, Ed Scurry, Vern Kern, and Dennis Keyes.

ARTinCC has immediate needs which we hope to fulfill with VOLUNTEER help. We need someone who is familiar with grant applications. We need volunteers to help clear brush and debris to make way for heavy construction equipment. And, of course, we need DONORS.

Our Facebook GROUP has connections to other trail groups, trail users and friends. It is a friendly place to meet, to share experiences and photos along the trails.
Our Facebook PAGE is designed specifically to inform followers about our current projects, progress and immediate needs and to provide information and links to our website for volunteers, membership, sponsorship and donations. We encourage you to take a few minutes to check us out. If you like what you see, get involved. Volunteer. Donate. Become a member. Become a Sponsor. Welcome everyone! Let’s do this!
